This is a FLEX course – some or all of the classes are offered more than once. The "A/B" classes are identical. When registering students will chose either option for any flex class, making their own schedule.

James Kriese

James is an exceptionally talented and highly versatile "natural teacher". His teaching background includes experience at three 30-level courses – Chemistry, Math, and Physics. He has played a key role in designing (and constantly improving) RTD's comprehensive Chemistry 30 and Physics 30 review packages, drawing on his experience working with Alberta Education on standards confirming and diploma exam review. James has extensive insight into both the Chemistry and Physics curriculum - and in his trademark colourful manner he will share exactly what students need to know for success on their science diplomas. James is the Physics Curricular Lead at Archbishop MacDonald in Edmonton.

Alison Buchynski
B. Sc., B. Ed. University of Alberta
Edmonton Public Schools (6 years)

Alison is an enthusiastic teacher from Centre High.  She has experience teaching Chemistry 30, Physics 30, Science 30, and Anatomy and Physiology.  She also has experience working with Alberta Education for Chemistry 30 and Science 30. Students really enjoy Alison's classes as she can break down even the most difficult concepts and make them easy to understand.  She makes class entertaining with her humour and love of science. Outside of the classroom, Alison loves spending time with her son, Ryan.
